UNCOVERING CHANGE

The Caravel’s Latin America & Caribbean staff reports breaking news across one of the world’s most politically interesting regions, drawing its information from a wide range of local and international sources in several different languages. We seek to bring to light important socioeconomic, environmental, and constitutional issues: what factors really cause turmoil in Latin America, and what misconceptions about its people might Western readers hold? The section strives to provide an unbiased analysis of a region undergoing constant upheaval, including fluctuating economic cycles, impeachments and election scandals, and fervent demonstrations advocating for a better future for the region.
