Indonesia - Feb 25

The Indonesian rupiah was the worst performer in the Asian currency market on Tuesday, plunging to its lowest level in six years in light of fears that the US central bank would raise its interest rate. As a result, the rupiah is now trading near 12,876 rupiahs per US dollar, its lowest level since the 2008 global financial crisis. The Governor on the Bank of Indonesia, Agus Martowardojo, stated, "We are not targeting a specific level for the currency; we will focus on its stability". Source: The Jakarta Post
