Haiti - Jan 26

Representatives from U.N. Security Council met with Haiti President Michel Martelly over the weekend. The international community has been concerned over the political crisis in Haiti that has plagued the country since 2011. After 3 years without democratically elected mayor, Chamber of Deputies, or Working Senate, the country runs the risk of falling back into a one-man rule under Mr. Martelly, who apprently expressed willingness to hold elections no later than May this year.
