Germany - Oct 29

Approximately 450 German residents have left to join ISIS since the beginning of the conflict in Syria and Iraq. As a result Germany is turning its attention to educating Muslim youth in the country in an attempt to deter future problems associated with extremism. While these programs, many with elements taken from anti- neo-Nazi education programs, may help stem the tide, funding has been cut year over year. In addition, precautions are being taken to reach out to Salafist sect youth, as they have been the most actively recruited in the past. Source: Reuters
