France - Mar 24

Following a sharp increase in pollution, French authorities have imposed new traffic restrictions in Paris and other cities in northern France.  Beginning this week, cars with even and odd numbered license plates will alternate time on the road to cut traffic congestion in half.  Additionally, public transportation, car sharing, and bike sharing programs will be free.  Approximately 750 additional police officers were sent into Paris to enforce the new traffic restrictions.
