Recent reports reveal good news for Eurozone business activity as Markit’s “flash” Purchasing Managers’ Index shows the highest ratings in five months.  January figures reached 52.2, up from 51.4 in December; any reading over 50 represents expansion.  Data also indicates, however that firms are lower prices at their fastest rate for almost five years amid talk of an ECB stimulus program.
